SUMMARY:Beef Education Day
DESCRIPTION:On Friday 25th July 2025 the IOM has linked up with one of our endorsed processors to host a “Beef Education Day” at  their research and development farm in Staffordshire. The day will consist of the following; \n\nFarm tour\, showing the process of how the cattle are reared and the efficiencies developed along the way\nSustainability. An insight into how carbon reductions are being monitored\nA butchery demonstration\nTraditional knife sharpening and opportunities to have a go yourself\nBurger making demo and an opportunity to partake with a competition /judging\nCooking demo where the burgers made on the day will be cooked and tasted by all.\n\nThere will be several Members present around the farm that will be able to provide additional information where appropriate. Please register your interest as places are limited and a formal invitation will be sent beginning of July. Please share the details of this FREE event with others in the meat industry\, they are eligible to attend with an IoM Member. This is a huge opportunity to further develop your knowledge on Beef and also to network with the other Members to gain an understanding of the vast areas of opportunity available within the meat industry that can aid your future development and career opportunities. \n\n\n\n\nRegister your interest with shorne@instituteofmeat.org
