David’s technical, operational and regulatory background has been built working for companies throughout the food supply chain including, Tesco, Anglo Beef Processors, Vion, Musgrave Retail Partners, Whitbread and Foyle Food Group. This has given him a uniquely varied perspective on the British meat industry and its place in the wider economy.

His role as the Technical Operations Director at the BMPA has further increased that perspective through his close involvement with Government departments, regulators and other trade bodies as he heads-up key research projects and consultations.
